From Eastbrook to Rush Green, improvements continue to be made across our neighbourhoods through ongoing work with residents, the council, and local partners.
Our shared aim is simple: to respond to concerns, support the community, and ensure our local area remains safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Over the past three months, a number of practical steps have been taken to address local issues.
Local Improvements
Several street lighting issues have been resolved, including repairs on Dagenham Road, Eastbrook Avenue, Ely Gardens, and Highland Avenue. Work is also ongoing in areas such as Tony Rawson Way and Eastbrook Close, with additional faults identified and reported for repair.
Road resurfacing and improvement works have been completed in parts of Eastbrook and Rush Green, works have been completed in Gorseway and Rose Glen Road help to improve road conditions for residents and drivers.
Environmental concerns continue to be addressed. Reports of fly-tipping have been followed up for clearance, and community litter-picking initiatives have taken place. Residents are also being encouraged to report issues using a barcode and QR code system to help speed up responses.

Community Safety
Concerns raised by residents are being taken seriously. Reports of anti-social behaviour at Highland Avenue car park and disturbances near Legon Avenue have been passed on and followed up with the relevant authorities.
Requests have also been made for increased police presence in certain areas, and engagement with local services is ongoing to ensure appropriate action is taken.
Wider Developments
We welcome the continued availability of services at #Dagenham #Police front counter, which remains an important local resource.
Efforts are also underway, supported by our MP, to secure investment for improvements to Queen’s Hospital emergency services.
In addition, funding has been secured for improvements to Central Park and other local areas, contributing to the long-term development of the community.
Working Together
Progress is best achieved through cooperation. We will continue working closely with residents and partners to address local priorities and keep the community informed.
